I had the blessing of growing up in Leuca, where I studied from LKG to 10th standard, and I proudly call myself a ‘Leucan.’ For me, Leuca is not just a school—it is home, it is family. Every corner of this place holds memories, and every person here has been a part of my journey. From our beloved Mother and Sisters to the wonderful Teachers (Names won’t fit in here but special mention to Varalakshmi mam, who start sculpting me right from UKG until today), our van driver ‘Maama,’ Watch Man Anna and the ever-supportive caretakers especially Pottiamma Akka—each of them looked after us with so much love and care, just like a family would. What made Leuca truly special was the way it shaped us—not just through education, but by teaching us values, discipline, respect, and giving us the freedom to grow into who we are meant to be. Today, whatever I am and whatever I have achieved is deeply rooted in the foundation laid here. I don’t see myself as just an alumnus, but as a child of this beautiful family.
